Guild Stack v2 is the full redesign: one state machine, six phases (init · ideate · plan · build · qa · ops), specialist teams with cost-aware model tiering, durable .guild/wiki/ knowledge with recall, recorded review posture, and a v1-to-v2 migrator.

- Single-verb command surface:
/guild:guild [brief]plus the phase verbs. Removed v1 command names do not execute work; unknown forms print usage and exit non-zero. The migration guide maps each old form to its replacement. - 16 named host targets through one adapter contract. The availability label stays separate from verification status. Only receipt-backed targets are verified, and missing capabilities are recorded as degradation. See Hosts.
- Task-specific specialist teams with cost-aware model tiering, a visible-pane tmux backend, and in-process or remote alternatives where available.
- Durable knowledge & memory, initiatives + the D8 close gate, and the understand-everything codebase-learning engine.

- Cross-host review depends on a suitable independent reviewer. Same-host or skipped review remains visible as a weaker posture.
- Host support beyond the receipt-verified floor is labelled by evidence, never assumed.
